Thank You Union!
Union Men, When we came together in the summer of 2023, the goal was simple, to rebuild. What we accomplished together went far beyond that. We built this club into two strong sides, brought 40+ guys consistently to training, and hosted two rounds of the EGU playoffs after going undefeated in the NJ D3 division. While we may have fallen short of our ultimate goals of winning the EGU and making a run at Nationals, what we built is something far more lasting standards. Standards in how we train. Standards in how we play. Standards in what it means to be a Union man, on and off the pitch. I want to thank every player and staff member who made these past few years so meaningful. A special thank you to Tom Ross and JP for the opportunity to coach this club, and to Joe Taranto, Greg Dimeter, and Coach Erickson for their unwavering commitment at trainings, on game days, and in the countless hours of planning behind the scenes. It’s because of you that we were able to build something real and sustain it. To the fans, supporters, volunteers, and especially the players who wore the jersey, thank you. You gave me more than I could ever give back. As I transition into coaching my three kids in youth soccer, my Saturdays will look a little different, new 'C' words like Cooperation and Communication will be new precedent. But I’ll always be following along, checking scores, and thinking about the boys at Union County. And just know—“Steaks on the Lake” will always be open to the squad if you’re ever upstate in New York or over in Connecticut. Forever Yours, Coach DeLucia
New Location and Time for Men's Practices
Moving forward, practices will be held at the Clark Rec Center from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. If you show up to Rahway River tonight, you will be SOL. We are facing two very skilled opponents this Saturday. Time for a solid week of training so we come out and make a statement.
Men's Upcoming Practice Schedule & Pub Crawl
Hi all, with our turf field still half snow covered and cold rain forecast, this week we will be hosting indoor trainings Tuesday & Thursday from 8pm-10pm at St. Thomas Aquinas High School (1 Tingley Lane, Edison, NJ). Next week, we anticipate returning to the turf at Rahway River Park: Tuesday & Thursday from 7:30-9:30pm. Make every effort to attend these practices. Our preseason has been compressed and our first game is just two weeks away, on 3/14. Last, but certainly not least, join us this Saturday, 3/7, for our annual pub crawl! This open event is a great opportunity to get friends, family, and potential recruits involved in our club. Details to be posted online.
