Men's Club AGM One Week Away

Hi everyone. As a reminder, our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 7pm next Wednesday, 8/5, at the Cranford Community Center (220 Walnut Ave, Cranford, NJ 07016). The AGM is your opportunity to voice your opinions and shape our club’s future. All club members are REQUIRED to attend. The AGM will follow into our first official practice on Thursday, 8/6. This year things are kicking off early. We have a preseason match on 8/22, and our first league match on 8/29. Especially if you missed Saranac, it is time to switch back into rugby mode. Sad to report that the Mudturtle family lost Dave Quinlan this past weekend. Dave came to Union after the 1978 merger with Neshanic RFC, he was a standout loosehead for both clubs. A prolific try scorer and very mobile for a big man. Dave contributed greatly to Union victories both on the field and at the post match parties. His obituary can be found on the link below. Sad to report that the Mudturtle family lost Dave Quinlan this past weekend. Dave came to Union after the 1978 merger with Neshanic RFC, he was a standout loosehead for both clubs.
