In a crossover game between Union County RFC and Play Rugby in "monsoon-like" conditions, the Mudturtles came out victorious with dynamic ball play despite the rainy and windy conditions. Curtis Raeford was able to take advantage of strong forward play by barreling through the strong Play Rugby defense. A few minutes later, Flyhallf Sean MacLaney scored his 16th try of the season by dummying the Play Rugby flyhalf and inside center to storm his way into for the try. Play Rugby drove down the field late in the first half for their first score.

Midway thru the second half, MacLaney was able to push a grub kick past the aggressive Play Rugby backs and retrieve the ball on a bounce to go into the try zone untouched. Play Rugby gritted things out to the very end by scoring in the last minute of the game. 

Union 15 - play rugby 10 

Union - Curtis Raeford  5-0

Union - Sean MacLaney 10-0

Play Rugby 10-5

Union MacLaney 15-5

Play Rugby 15-10.
